I have been using MSM for approx 3 months now. I had never heard of it, but I ordered a different supplement, and due to shipping delay, the company I ordered from sent me a bottle of it free. Like I said, i had never heard of it, so i looked it up. It seemed very safe, and I was having alot of trouble with carpal tunnel, couldn't sleep at night and arm and hand would be numb for hours in the morning. Well, not even 2 days after I started taking the 1/4 tsp, 3x a day, every symptom of the carpal tunnel was gone. No pain, coldness, swelling, nothing. It was a lingisul powder, I started taking, though not the brand here. I found that taking it in cranberry juice was the best way to take it for me, as the tastes blend well, and I get some vitamin c with it. I finally got my husband to start taking it, because he was having pain from his recently started "workouts'. He resisted at first, but after I explained to him time and time again how safe it was, he started using it regularly, and told me it is helping alot with muscle fatigue. I have one question, I am thinking of using an inositol supplement, but read that "sulfa drugs" neutralize this from the body. Will MSM block this supplement? Anyhow, I highly recommend MSM to anyone, and though the one I am taking is pure, I have seen many in health food stores that aren't, so yes you have to watch for additives.
