I was diagnosed by my Pulmmonary Specialist with Sarcoidosis six months ago.
After reviwing my chest X-Ray, which indicated bilateral Hilar Adenopothy, he suggested that I have a biopsy on the lumps that were forming under my armpits. The results of the biopsy indicated that I had granuloma development.
The doctor prescribed 20 mg of Prednisone twice a day. I hesitantly followed the doctor's orders. Three months later we both decided to systematically ween me off of the Prednisone.
I've been off the Prednisone now for three weeks and am beginning to develop those initial symptoms: shortness of breath, pins and needles under my armpits, lethargy, inability to eat or drink without getting sick to my stomach, weight gain, depression.
Since I've taken the clinical route by consulting with an M.D., I was wondering if there was a holistic approach you could recommend.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
