MSM is not a cure for arthritis, although it does help with pain and inflammation.

You probably do need to work up to higher amounts to deal with the melasma, and it does take quite a while, perhaps six months or more. Using MSM lotion topically in addition to taking it internally should also be helpful.

: Hi ,
: I had have been using MSM for melasma(2000 mg before bed) but incidently I found that my inflammation due to rheumatoid arthritis is gone. However if I skip my dose, it comes back!!
: Is MSM a cure or a relief?? However I have not found any change in my melasma?? Do I need to increase the dosage???
: Many Thanks
