Hi I am 18 and I have scleraderma. I was diagnosed with it when I was 12. I use to have major pains and nothing helped or could be done. Until I found out about the studies.. I have been in 2 so far. I had to drop out of the 1 due to my pregnancy. I am still in the 2 and I have never been better.. I dont know if I am taking the medicine or not. I was also told the older you get sometimes people see a difference. I am very sorry for your friends daughter it is a very hard thing to live with..
