In the business of supplements we always hear "consult with your doctor. But what if your doctor has no idea what organic sulfur is?
is a posting by P. Anthony Chapdelaine, Jr., MD, MSPH
which can be given to your doctor so that they will
not be so uninformed.
Unlike most mineral issues we have become sulfur defi-
cient because of the use of artificial fertilizers,
food addatives and over processing of our foods.
Sulfur is very susceptible to temperatures over 270 degrees, the temperature at which sulfur vaporizes.
As for Dr. Chapdelaine recommendation for taking MSM
in capsule form I only know a few brands of
MSM caps which do not have silicon dioxide or other
flow agents which have been proven to block sulfur
uptake. Coarse granular MSM is the only reliable form
I personally have observed in our study as being effective. No pills work! Temperature, binders
and flow agents used to make pills all impede the
uptake of sulfur.
Yes, consult your doctor but remmember it is your body.
