I don't have any experience with it, nor any reports that come to mind, but MSM should be of benefit to any pain related to inflammation. There are no cons to taking that much MSM indefinitely. Only you can decide whether you need that much or not. If less provides the same result for you, then take less. Any excess that you take is just wasted money if it doesn't seem to do anything additional for you. With very few exceptions, people need to stay on the MSM indefinitely to see continued results, much the same as you need to keep drinking water to address thirst. There is no addiction to MSM other than the fact that it is needed in the first place just as food, air, and water are needed. If you go off of the MSM, you will simply see a gradual return of symptoms that you had before taking MSM.
: I have patellar tendonitis and was wondering if anyone has had experience with this and MSM supplementing. I am taking a 1000mg capsule 4 times a day. Is there any cons to taking this much? is it too much? lastly, will i ever be able to be off of MSN or will it always be needed? does the body get addicted?
: THANK YOU
