It should be ok for him to take the MSM with the medication he is on, but he should work with his doctor because over time the MSM may also bring his blood pressure under control and he may no longer need the medication, or may need less of it. Note that if he is also taking blood thinners, he should work even more closely with his doctor because that will most likely need to be reduced as well.
: My dad has severe lower back pain, and surgery is not an option for him. Cortisone injections did not work either. Someome told me about MSM for back pain, and I suggested he try it. He is on several medications for high blood pressure and wonders if it is safe to take MSM while on this type of medication. Any advice on this topic? Thanks!
