You will need to take the MSM longer--my wife actually didn't notice a lot of difference until she had taken it six months or more. And she also had worked up to six teaspoons a day, so you may want to work your way (slowly) a little higher. Becky was not even aware that MSM would help melasma so she wasn't even trying to address it--it just happened as a side-benefit. If she were actually trying to address it, she also would have used the lotion directly on the affected area as well as taking the MSM powder internally.
