This summer I embarked on a new experience by signing up at a local fitness center and using a personal trainer. I thought I would share the supplement information that they recommend for building muscle and losing weight. If enough folks are interested, we will start stocking these items.
First, they recommend a good quality protein powder that provides 25 to 30 grams of protein per serving. And they recommend 2 to 3 servings of it a day depending on your ability to eat something every 3 hours as they also recommend.
Then they recommend 15 grams of L-glutamine powder and 1250 mg of L-carnitine liquid a day. The L-carnitine should be taken just before workouts. Then comes Tonalin/CLA which is a fat burner to be taken 2 to 3 times a day. And then finally a zinc/magnesium/B6 product called ZMA before bed which is also fat burning and increases muscle mass.
As with any exercise or diet regimen, it is best to clear it with
your doctor first before embarking on it. We do have all of these items available as Special Order items except for the protein powder. I have seen some success with this regimen and I would be interested in your results too.
