But this may also help: We buy pure product as shown on the certificate of analysis. Why would we go to the expense of mixing it with something else? For larger companies, I can tell you that they mix it with excipients, not because they want to cheat you by selling you fillers instead of MSM (in fact the amount of actual excipients is fairly small in most cases), but because they want the product to flow better in their machinery (excipients are also often called flow agents). Since we hand-package and hand-weigh, we have no need for flow agents and it would actually cost us more time and effort to mix them in. How fortunate for us that the pure MSM without excipients is more effective than MSM with excipients.

: I know there are certificates of analysis to prove the purity of the msm from the source, but how do I know if the stuff is really pure after it has been repackaged?
