I had a Golden Retriever that I had put on a combination of glucosamine and MSM that I had received from my vet. About 3 months after I had him on it, he was sleeping on the couch and suddenly he rose up and seemed to have some kind of seizure and dropped dead in front of me. I wondered about the MSM. He was thirteen but in perfect condition and I had him out for a walk that morning. Was his usual self. Now one of my other dogs has begun showing signs of arthritis and I put her on the same stuff because I couldn't find anything bad about MSM. I've had her on it for about a month and she is showing signs of unsual pacing and extreme nervousness. Again I wonder about the MSM. So I'm taking her off it and I'll observe her closely when I do. I know this is not a vet board but thought it might interest you.

: Can anyone tell me if they've experienced this and why? I swear by this stuff for my fibro and arthritis but I suffer from horrible night terrors (and I mean horrible). When I stop taking MSM for only two days, the dreaming stops. I'm anxious for feedback. Thank you!
