Why won’t Chrome work in the website store?

Most installations of Chrome automatically have third party cookies disabled. Since our store needs those cookies in order to keep track of your shopping cart, that means that at some point (usually during checkout) you will lose the contents of your cart and have to start over again. This has caused many frustrations for our customers as Chrome becomes more popular.

Is there anything that can be done to get Chrome to work?

Some people have gotten Chrome to work by changing their third party cookie settings. In order to do this:
On your computer, open Google Chrome.
In the top right, click the Menu button (looks like three horizontal lines).
Click Settings > Show advanced settings (at the bottom).
In the “Privacy” section, click Content settings.
Use the “Cookies” section to change your settings:
To allow both first-party and third-party cookies, click Allow local data to be set and uncheck Block third party cookies and site data.
Click on the Done button.

Check that your settings were saved.
